bermuda

i had such a great, relaxing time in bermuda. it was so nice to get away from the usual routine and instead spend time reading & hanging out on pink-sand beaches. i love the culture of the island...the people are so diverse...bermuda is a british colony so there are lots of people from the UK as well as americans, africans and native bermudians...makes for an fascinating mix of accents that i just loved listening to. and they're sooo polite & respectful...very refreshing! the food is amazing too. my favorite dishes were bermuda pan fried rockfish topped with toasted almonds and bananas at a place called the Lobster Pot & the fish and chips that i had at the Hog Penny Pub. i also tried my first pint of Bass and loved it. can't wait to get back there again!
