one of my goals for this summer is to spend more time in the kitchen exploring the world of culinary creativity and i've been wanting to try my hand a some new recipes. so this weekend i made vanilla custard. it turned out pretty well, though the taste reminds me more of tapioca pudding than of vanilla ice cream. still, it got rave reviews from my family of foodies.:) here's a link to cuisinart's premium vanilla ice cream.
