designing type

this book arrived in the mail the other day...i'm sooo excited! i'm going to be designing a typeface for my graphic design capstone project next year and i've heard that this is basically the type designer's bible. so i plan on doing lots of studying & drawing & hopefully i'll be able to put together an amazing new typeface. i plan on designing something with roots in Futura....
