recession

so we're in a recession. having not been through one before i haven't been super sure of what to expect. i keep seeing things in the news about stock values dropping, unemployment rates rising and the government bailing out corporations, but am not entirely sure of what all this means. with all the unknowns there have been some worries and fears creeping in so i was really interested when my church started a series called "God's economy" and it provided a really refreshing, freeing biblical perspective on how to deal with what's going on. here's a link to the sermons: God's economy. the main thing i took away from this series was that God has given us everything we have...including all the money that He has entrusted us with. He is the owner and we are the managers...everything we have is merely on loan to us from Him. He knows what we need and He will provide it for us.
